About us
The values of HFM

At HFM, we share 5 values deeply in our hearts that are core to everything we do.

About us

Our story

Imagine yourself standing outside a hospital room, where a member of your family is being treated for a serious condition. You see a poster on the wall across the room: Choose happiness…

You have 2 options: the first one is to allow yourself to sink into the angst and worry that your darkest fear might materialize – losing your loved one. The OTHER option is to look up to the sky at the ultimate source of light, the sun… and allow yourself to remember that there is an infinite source of gratitude and hope inside all of us, a source of positive emotion, which is always there for you, which never ends…

And with this story, we begin our journey – create a movement of nurturing a growth mindset, a shift towards learned optimism, through our programs, which are based on scientific research and applications of Positive Psychology.

Our vision & mission

01.
Our vision
Our vision is to enable individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities to function at their best by using creative interventions, tools and applied practices from Positive Psychology for the greater good of society. We envision establishing mental health and balance in our society to help learn how to accept life's challenges through resilience and choose to focus on the bright side of things in every situation.
02.
Our mission
Our mission is to provide tools through positive experiences and scientifically validated interventions in the form of educational material, events and special programs of Applied Positive Psychology to help all society members develop resilience and flourish holistically through building a moral character in the fields of education, health & corporates.

The way we work

To help us achieve all that we want to accomplish and to evolve on a personal and on a group level, we have agreed on 4 basic principles. These are always applied in the way we work and the way we communicate; on our own, with the team and with any external party.
Focus
One of the main obstacles standing between us and all we want to achieve is lack of focus.
In today's world, we are not in need of more time; we are in need of greater focus and less ‘noise’. The way we work is aligned with being focused on what we do in every moment, keeping away from distractions and ‘noise’ that is redundant. Examples of such noise is a phone call, a message, constant interaction with social media… This helps us be more productive and be in a state of flow.

Simplicity
Our second principle is simplicity, in everything we do, in the way we work, in our programs.
Our mind has the tendency to complicate things and creating difficulties where there aren’t any. Often, we want to say something simple and, in our attempt, to explain it we make it complicated; and thus we lose the essence of what we wanted to say. The way we work is characterized by simplicity and the notion that ‘less is more’.
more less
Transparency
Our third principle is being authentic and honest in everything we do. There is utter transparency in all our processes.
This characterizes the way we collaborate and communicate both internally and externally.

Humane
In everything we do, we put the human first. The way we work is humane. Everything we create opts to help the individual develop on its own and the society to flourish as a whole.
